The final countdown- 1 day to go...

Things are getting very exciting... We have bikes, we have tents, we even have our own printed t-shirts, courtesy of a generous Edinburgh-based printing company.

Our accommodation for the nights of the trip is with various parishes and friends. The trip is really built on the generosity of people up and down the country.

Our fundraising is going well; two appeals at Our Lady and St Peter Parish, Bridlington, and St Wilfrid's Parish in York raised over £2000 between them (parish priest of St Wilfrid's, Canon Michael Ryan, in the photo below). We have been astounded by the generosity of our sponsors- we have already raised our fundraising target to £7000. These funds are crucial for our chosen charities to carry out their work.

But, as they say, it's not all about the money! The bigger goal of our journey is to bear witness to our faith as young Catholics, to pray for the re-evangelsation of our country, and to grow in our faith together as we cycle.

So, if you can't get on your bike and join us, please join us in prayer over the next 21 days.
